The Property Plug Connector connects a Leica DA220 or DA230 series signal transmitter to the live electricity mains cable within the property in order to apply a signal to it. This will enable you to then trace that specific cable around the outside of the property. If you are carrying out excavation work in close proximity to a building the Property Plug Connector will help you to locate the electricity cable for that building before excavation work. Just plug the Property Connection Kit in as close to the consumer unit as possible and the other end of the connector into a Leica DA220 or DA230 series signal transmitter. Then set your Leica DD100 or DD200 Smart Cable Locator to the same operating mode (8kHz or 33 kHz) to trace the electricity cable away from the property.
